The company, founded in 1997 by Mr. Stefaan Soenen, has already been involved in a large number of high profile marine incidents (such as the Tricolor – English Channel, New Flame – Gibraltar, Rena – New Zealand, etc.). It provides a wide range of services to the marine industry with a particular focus on processing, scrapping and disposal of recovered wrecks (or wreck sections).

After being involved in quite a number of distressed cargo operations during the past two decades, we felt a need to set up a separate branch within the group named SOENEN CARGO SOLUTIONS. This branch entirely focusses on this niche market, with the aim of better serving our Clients. Whether in-tact or damaged cargoes which often is a result of a ship’s collision, grounding or sinking, a suitable, tailor-made solutions will be offered, no matter whether the cargo is affected by (sea)water, fire or smoke
